They are three names for the same kind of battery: ten lithium-ion cells in series. The only difference is the average cell voltage stated by the manufacturer (3.6, 3.65 or 3.7 volts per cell). Fully charged, all three measure about 42 volts, which is why you charge them with a 42V charger. Whether a battery fits your bike therefore does not depend on this small difference, but on the model, the shape, the connection and the type of BMS.

A standard BMS monitors the battery itself, such as the voltage and temperature of the cells. A smart BMS does that too, but also communicates with the bike, for example about the charge level and the range shown on the display. That communication uses the manufacturer’s own protocol. Does your bike need a smart BMS? Then choose an original version with smart BMS: a battery with a standard BMS is usually not recognised by such a bike.

This refers to the new generation of the Wall-E-S battery: the Joycube EBG360, the official successor to the Phylion XH370 and EBG370. Because many people still search for the old name, we also call it ‘XH370 updated version 2026’. The new generation has modern cylindrical cells, an improved BMS, a waterproof housing and connectors, and it is lighter. The EBG360 is available with a standard BMS and with a smart BMS.
