The newly designed BMS makes the battery more efficient and reduces standby power consumption. Additionally, the battery is now waterproof, significantly reducing the risk of moisture damage. The sturdier and waterproof charging connector helps reduce the risk of charging issues, while the battery construction itself is more solid. Upgrade to the latest model and benefit from these improvements! Since the old charger no longer works with this battery, a new charger is included as standard! Despite the improvements, this new and enhanced battery is fully compatible (interchangeable) with its predecessors in the XH370-13J (-14J, -12J and -10J) Wall-E-S series. The functionality and form factor of the battery remain unchanged. Is the battery suitable for my bike? This bike battery is suitable for models including the Hamilton, Milton, Wellington, Darwin, Apollo and Arrow. You can easily check if this battery is suitable for your electric bike in 4 steps:

1. Form factor: the shape of your current battery must match that of the new battery (see photo). Also check the information below.
2. Voltage: the current battery must be a 36 or 37 V type.
3. Battery Management System: the current battery has a standard BMS or the bike works with it without issues. A battery with a smart BMS is more expensive and usually unnecessary for the bike’s operation.
4. Charging plug connection: the current charger must have a round tulip plug (resembles coax) and an output voltage of 42 V to be used with the new bike battery.

Using and charging the battery Proper use of the battery is crucial for the battery’s lifespan and performance. The following principles are important:

• Keep the battery in good condition by using it regularly (charging and discharging).
• The battery performs best at a temperature of 25 – 30 degrees Celsius, but stays in the best condition at lower temperatures. Preferably store the battery in a cool, dry environment when not in use.
• Charge an empty battery immediately to prevent a deep discharge situation where the battery voltage drops below the level at which the battery can still register that the charger is connected.
