Product description

Replacing a Phylion XH370? Choose new, not old stock.

The Phylion XH370 has been out of production since late 2022. What is currently offered is usually old stock with a risk of capacity loss and a shorter lifespan.

Our recommendation: the Volt Ride compatible battery

The Volt Ride 15Ah (540Wh), like the 13Ah version (468Wh), is a modern replacement battery for the Phylion XH370 and EBG370, built according to RAP specifications. With high-quality Lishen SS-series battery cells and an advanced BMS, this battery offers reliable performance and a long lifespan. Fully compatible with Phylion Wall-E-S models with a standard BMS, making it a worry-free upgrade for your e-bike.

Advantages of the Volt Ride:

  • Modern Lishen SS-series battery cells: lighter, more stable, and more durable
  • Fully compatible with XH370/ EBG370 with standard BMS
  • Includes new charger as standard
  • Great value for money

Correct replacement choice for your current XH370 or EBG370:

For cargo bike users, cyclists who regularly cover long distances, or anyone who likes a bit of extra reserve, the 15Ah version is a good choice. The best way to determine the required capacity is based on the capacity (Ah) of your current battery and the range you achieved with it when it was new. If that range was sufficient, a larger capacity is often unnecessary.

Does your current battery have a Smart BMS? If so, we recommend an original Phylion battery with Smart BMS. This is the safest choice and offers the best guarantee for the trouble-free operation of your e-bike. Click HERE for the original battery with smart BMS

If your bike does not actively use the Smart BMS functionality, you can also opt for an original Phylion battery with standard BMS or this Volt Ride replacement battery as a budget-friendly alternative.

No. The Phylion XH370 has been out of production since late 2022. The XH370 series was succeeded by the virtually identical EBG370 and, as of model year 2026, by the completely redesigned EBG360. Any XH370 batteries currently offered are from older stock.

A newly produced battery offers more certainty regarding its current condition, capacity, and lifespan. With old or outdated stock, there is a real chance that the battery quality has already declined due to long-term storage.

Yes. The Volt Ride is a new generation with modern cylindrical cells, an improved BMS, and a splash-proof housing. The old XH370/EBG370 was also splash-proof. This makes this battery lighter, more stable, and more durable than the older XH370 generation.

Yes, this battery is compatible with the Phylion XH370 and EBG370 Wall-E-S models with a standard BMS. In addition to the XH370-15Ah, it also replaces the 10J, 11J, 12J, 13J, and 14J models. Switching is easy thanks to the same design and connection.

Yes, this battery is suitable as a replacement for the EBG360 with a standard BMS. Do you use a bike with a Smart BMS? Then you need the original Phylion EBG360 with Smart BMS.

The old charger doesn’t always work. That’s why this replacement battery comes standard with a new, compatible charger.

Always check the type on your current battery, the shape of the housing, and whether your bike works with a standard BMS or Smart BMS. Based on that, you can determine which battery is suitable. Click here for the step-by-step guide.

This replacement battery has the popular Wall-E-S design with an integrated rear light. The battery should not be confused with other Phylion XH370 batteries, including older models and, for example, the RC1701 type used by brands such as Popal, Rivel, Mobion, and De Ruyter. Therefore, always carefully check whether the design of this battery (especially the side with the slots for the battery terminals) matches the battery to be replaced.

Replaces the Phylion XH370 10J, 11J, 12J, 13J, 14J and the Phylion/Joycube EBG370-140H1S24, all from the Wall-E-S series. This battery is equipped with a standard BMS (Battery Management System) and is compatible with batteries from the following e-bike brands, among others:

  • Vogue
  • Veloci
  • Rivel
  • Altec
  • Hollandia
  • Pelikaan
  • Minerva
  • Talent
  • Jools
  • Troy

Use and Charging of the Battery

Good battery management is important for a long lifespan and good performance.

  • Keep the battery in good condition by using it regularly (charging and discharging).
  • The battery wears out through use and age; prevent extra wear by not leaving it unused or incorrectly stored for long periods.
  • Best performance at 25–30 °C; 0–10 °C is most favorable for storage.
  • Always charge a flat battery immediately to prevent deep discharge; if the voltage is too low, the BMS will no longer recognize the charger and charging will become impossible.
