The RAP e-bike is prepared for operation with this battery with smart BMS. Smart BMS communicates with the bike’s computer and provides, among other things, an accurate battery status on the display. If you place less value on an accurate battery status indication, the alternative with standard BMS also works. In this case, the battery status progression will be slightly less accurate.

The Phylion XH370 (with smart BMS) battery has been out of production since late 2022 and has been succeeded by the Joycube EBG370. From model year 2026, Phylion introduces the Joycube EBG360 with smart BMS as the new generation battery, the official successor to both the XH370 and the EBG370. With the EBG360, Phylion brings a completely renewed battery that meets current standards in e-bike technology.

Use and Charging of the Battery
Proper use of the battery is crucial for its lifespan and performance. The following principles are important:
Keep the battery in good condition by using it regularly (charging and discharging).
The battery performs best at a temperature of 25 – 30 degrees Celsius, but stays in best condition at lower temperatures. Preferably store the battery in a cool, dry environment when not in use.
Charge an empty battery immediately to prevent a deep discharge situation where the battery voltage drops below the level at which the battery can still register that the charger is connected.
