Product description

Battery charger with 2-pin (plus & minus) 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug for 36 volt Keola bike batteries. The charger features a charge indicator function (charging/not charging), automatic shut-off, and overheating protection. Produced by Sans – the original manufacturer of chargers for various A-brand electric bikes.
Why a 42V charger is suitable for 36V batteries

Even if your battery says 36V, a fully charged e-bike battery always reaches approx. 42V. That is why you use a charger with 42V output voltage for the 36V Keola battery. When the battery is full, the charger stops active charging, but a small voltage remains on the output. Therefore, it is better not to leave a battery connected indefinitely or unnecessarily long.

👉 In short: 42V is exactly the correct and official charging voltage for Keola 36V batteries.

Battery no longer charging? Check this first

When facing charging problems, many customers think the charger is defective, while in practice it often turns out to be the battery itself. To prevent you from unnecessarily ordering a new charger (and having to return it later), we recommend first going through our short self-diagnosis. This allows you to quickly see if the problem really lies with the charger.
