E-bike battery diagnosis Is your electric bike’s range not what it used to be, does the battery no longer seem to charge fully, or do you have doubts about its overall performance? Then it might be time to have your battery tested. RAP can perform this test on batteries supplied by us and/or batteries included in our product range. Check yourself first The problems described above can be caused by the battery, but also by the charger. Additionally, the issue may lie within the bike itself. Click the buttons below for possible causes and scenarios that may occur with battery and/or charger problems.         RAP battery test We only test e-bike batteries for which we have a replacement model in our range. We perform testing as a service, which means the costs are waived if the test results lead to the purchase of a new battery. In this case, you only pay the costs for shipping the battery to us. How a battery test works:

1. Order the test online here and indicate what problems you are experiencing with the battery in the “order note” section.
2. First, fully charge the battery.
3. Pack the battery, along with the charger and a copy of the online order, securely and preferably use protective padding so the battery and charger are well protected.
4. Send the battery to RAP electric bikes, Siriusstraat 41, 5015 BT Tilburg.
   1. Preferably include a track & trace sent to info@traprap.nl so we know your battery is on its way and can monitor its delivery.
5. After receipt, we first check if the battery is fully charged. If not, we will (if possible) charge the battery further until it is full and ready for testing.
6. During testing, the battery is drained as much as possible until the BMS shuts it down.
7. After draining, the battery is recharged. This is generally done with your own charger to determine how well it still functions. When the charger indicates the battery is full, we check if it is actually fully charged.
8. After completing the test, you will receive a short report via email with the test conclusions. Based on this, you can indicate whether you wish to order a new battery and/or if you want your old battery returned.

Costs: The costs for a battery test are €29.50, including return shipping. This amount is waived if you order a replacement battery from us based on the test results.
